Blazer “The Torch” Butane Refillable Micro Torch – Black
The Torch, Blazer’s original butane refillable torch lighter, is a time-tested, gas lighter that creates a precise flame emitting from its head, allowing direct heat application to an object. It is used for pipes, cigars, and cigarette-lighting.
The Torch features a clear view of the fuel chamber at its base for ease of fuel-gauging, and has an attachable, flexible, tabletop stand for hands-free use. The lighter has a child-resistant safety trigger, removable lid and a silver-colored chain, linking the cap to the lighter body.
The Torch houses a piezoelectric ignition system, which is based on a pressurized molecular reaction, and requires no electric connection. Piezoelectric energy occurs when the trigger is activated, releasing a small, spring-loaded internal hammer that strikes a crystal, producing a spark and resulting in gas flame ignition.
With a maximum flame temperature of 2,500 degrees F, the Torch has a burn time of approximately 20 continuous minutes, and has a 5.0-gram gas capacity. Its flame range is 0.75 to 2.0 inches. The lighter measures 0.75 (d) x 1.25 (w) x 3.0 (h) inches, weighs 2.0 ounces, has a black body finish, and features a Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) certified safety trigger.
